Transendra ("Transendra", "we", "us") is a software and AI studio based in Giza, Egypt. This policy explains what personal data we collect through transendra.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 ("PDPL") and other applicable law.
1. What we collect
We only collect data you choose to submit through our forms. We do not use cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising trackers on this site.

2. Why we collect it, and our legal basis
- Contact form — to respond to your inquiry and discuss a potential project or engagement. Legal basis: your consent, given by submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries.
- Job application form — to evaluate your candidacy for an open role and to contact you about your application. Legal basis: your consent and steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
- Product launch notifications — to email you once, when the product you signed up for ships. Legal basis: your consent.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not sell personal data. You can withdraw consent at any time — see Section 5.
3. Who we share it with, and cross-border transfer
Submitted data is stored with our database provider, Supabase, on infrastructure located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). This means your data leaves Egypt when you submit a form. We rely on the EU's data protection standard, which is broadly recognised as adequate, as the basis for this transfer, and we are working through Egypt's PDPC cross-border transfer registration/licensing requirements as they come into force. We do not share your data with any other third party, except where required by law (e.g. a valid legal request from a competent authority).
4. Retention
- Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months after our last exchange with you, then deleted.
- Job applications are retained for up to 12 months after the relevant role closes, so we can consider you for related future openings, then deleted unless you ask us to keep them longer.
- Product launch notifications are retained until the product launches (and the notification is sent) or you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.
5. Your rights
Under the PDPL, you have the right to:
- Know what personal data we hold about you and why
- Request a copy of your data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to erasure")
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Object to processing of your data
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@transendra.com. We will respond within 30 days of receiving your request and in line with Egypt's PDPL requirements.
6. Supervisory authority
If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your data or a request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with Egypt's data protection authority:

7. Security
We apply reasonable technical safeguards to protect the data you submit, including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take proportionate steps to protect your information.
8. Children
Our site and services are directed at businesses and professionals, and are not directed at or intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
